Ease of Set-Up

When purchasing tracks for four wheelers, make sure you buy something that can only take up to two hours to install. Anything that would take more than that is a waste of time. Before making the purchase, choose carefully from different stores and ask specifically for snow conversion kits.

Mobility Through Lift

The snow tracks should be able to give your quads a few inches of lift. This makes the ride easier. Without a lift, your four wheeler might get stuck in the center if you get onto bumpy terrains. The lift from the tracks will ensure there is adequate space between the terrain and your ATV.  

Mud Tracks

Rainfall is all too common and preparing your ATV even before the first drop hits the soil will do you much good. Mud makes the trails a sticky ride and if you are participating in a mud race, you have higher chances of winning if you install mud tracks.

Must be Rubberized 

Stock tracks and tires will not take you anywhere in mud terrains and this is why you are installing a mud track. Make sure it is rubberized because rubber can drag you better in the mud. Besides, they are also cheap. 

Flexibility 

When buying a mud tracks for four wheelers, make sure you are buying something that will serve two purposes: mud and snow. Many mud tracks nowadays can also take the ATV on snow. This gives you a better ride and better value for your money. Ask the retailer or the dealer carefully of the mud track you are about to purchase can also move your quad in snows. If they canÂ't, do not pay for them even if they are cheap on sale.
